After looking in amazement at some of Chihuly's work, students got busy making their own version!
- Students colored two sheets of shrink paper using permanent markers - some solid areas, some patterned
- Cut the paper into interesting shapes (some large, some small)
- After baking in the oven for a couple minutes the pieces turned into these wacky shapes perfect for building!
- Using hot glue and some assistance, students assembled their sculptures
