What better way to learn about art than to work collaboratively on a single piece of art?
Students learned a lot about what it means to communicate with others, compromise and collaborate in their artwork. We encouraged students to find others with similar ideas before finalizing their group members. Students sketched ideas out independently, then discussed and voted on one final concept. Once the design was drawn in chalk on the large sheets of cardboard, students got busy painting!
Here's a few photos from our end of the week celebration!
